A twenty year veteran of unschooling, I tell my story of raising two kids from birth to college without school in my upcoming book, Success Without School, Unschooling My Children from Birth to College (2022, Kalindi Press). This book explains what unschooling is and why I chose that course for our family despite my own public school upbringing. You’ll find out about the delights and the challenges of unschooling for the duration of childhood, what I learned along the way and how the each child got into their first choice university. My primary reason for this blog is to give voice to the idea that learning in freedom is not only possible, but may be a critical concept in education.
